Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see your question? Please reach us at greekfest@st-sophia.com so we can answer your question.

Greek Fest is St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church’s largest annual fundraiser, supporting nearly one-quarter of the church’s operating income and helping sustain our ministries, programs, and community outreach throughout the year.

At the same time, Greek Fest is our joyful way of sharing our Hellenic and Orthodox Christian heritage with the wider community. Through authentic Greek food, music, dance, and traditions, we proudly open our doors and invite guests to experience the faith, history, and values that shape who we are.

Above all, Greek Fest is about bringing people together, uniting our St. Sophia family while welcoming visitors of all backgrounds to celebrate, connect, and have fun. It’s a weekend filled with hospitality, culture, and community, where every bite, dance, and smile helps support the church we love.

Greek Fest is held at St. Sophia Church, located at 525 Church Road, Elgin, Illinois 60123, United States.
